Mimikyu
It's Pikachu! We all knew he would one day serve his job as a Meta Breaking Mascot!
Original joke, I know lol.
This PoketyWokety right here is the sole reason Garchomp is losing relevancy. Mimikyu is the true meta breaker of Generation Tapu, with a great ability, great potential and great movesets
Disguise
This ability defines this Pocket Monster, with it being based around a decent design and also giving it a boost. With this ability, if you can't bypass it, it can just SDance, Z-Hone Claws or Bulk Up (hahahaha no) in your face. You may be wondering how is this ability better than say Shields Down, which prevents Prankster Status on the first turn. It's because it can take a hit that isn't vital and set up freely. You'd think they'd make it slow because of this... right? Nope, it's quite fast, faster than the OG of quite fast Lucario... by 1. It's Attack isn't even it's main stat... good luck using a Special mon on this evil mon; it's Special Defense is it's best stat. The best thing you can do is Hypnosis and hope it lands, if it does, you will be able to take it's ability out and it won't be able to attack with it's set up. Switching out is still a thing though, so good luck.
Potential
The potential with this mon is great, with it being able to take out Powerhouses like Garchomp and even stop annoying ones such as Tapu Lele. It's also quite annoying to deal with, as it can run many sets, like it could Swords Dance then SSneak, so you could go Physical on it. However, the rare Bulk Up set is still viable as it can surprise the alternative physical method user, as SpD is also a problem. Z-Hone Claws may waste an item slot to many, however it will guarantee Play Rough always lands, especially if an Evasion Clause is present. This a mon that can easily replace the Gengar that Game Freak destroyed. Watch out though, SSneak isn't viable against Tapu ScarfScarf/Lele.
The movesets have already been mentioned throughout the prior categories, so you should get the idea from this.
Yes, this was far more serious than other entries, that's because I honestly think this Pokemon is a brilliant one. It isn't just blatantly annoying or tedious like Lele, as Mold Breakers happily give this Pokemon justice; rather it's how Garchomp was, a fair break in the meta, a powerhouse that can destroy and be destroyed.
Gen IV-VI > Garchomp, he breaks hearts, he breaks souls... he breaks the META!
Gen VII > Mimikyu, didn't just break the meta, it broke the meta BREAKER!
Respect for Mimikyu; it is better than the Pokemon it mimics.
